On our yearly Day of Service, parishioners go into the local community to help in many ways. Our efforts are directed to projects that will take place in Strongsville (or at a parishioner’s home nearby), involve meaningful work or interactions, can be accomplished within 6 hours (between the hours of 9 AM – 5 PM), with little-to-no cost (less than $40). All work will be completed by volunteers (adults, teens and children accompanied by adults).
Work that will be considered includes visiting the elderly, interacting with residents at nursing homes or assisted living facilities, trimming trees or bushes, yard clean-up, minor home repairs, or small painting projects. No work will occur on a rental property nor on a property who already has contracted ground’s maintenance services.
This year, our annual Parish Day of Service will be on Saturday, October 3, 2026. We are currently accepting applications for work sites. If you need our services or know of someone who needs our help, fill out the application here and return it to the Main Office of the church no later than Monday, August 31, 2026.
