The Handbell Choirs enhance the celebration of our liturgies especially during the seasons of Advent/Christmas and
Lent/Easter. They perform music which supports the assembly's sung prayer, and also play solo hymn improvisations
before and after the Eucharistic liturgy. The ability to read music is important and a sense of rhythm is crucial.
These choirs enhance the Mass with their beautiful sound. The choirs play at least once a
month at a variety of Masses. No previous experience is necessary.
Youth Bells - This newly forming choir is for beginning ringers, 4th - 8th grade.
3 Octave Choir - This choir is for beginning and intermediate ringers, high school age
and up. Weekly rehearsals are held Saturdays 9:00 - 10:30 am.
5 Octave Choir - This choir plays more challenging pieces and is for those who have
had more experience ringing. Weekly rehearsals are held on
Monday evenings.
